My Epic Tale! (condensed)
As I said on the home page of this AMAZING website my name is Erik Oehlke and I am a UX designer. I enjoy working with art and creating art, through drawing, woodworking, UX Design(Of course). It was not until recently that I gracefully stumbled onto UX design, and that changed everything. I finally felt like I knew what I wanted to do with my life.
Figuring out what to do with my life was great but about four months into completing my UX certification, Maeve showed up. The little lady pictured above, and it was the most amazing feeling! Certification fell by the wayside for a bit of time.
My wife and I were amazingly lucky to have her sleeping by 2 months old! I was able to step back on to the UX field and swing away. I am doing my best (with Maeve's help) to create as many projects for UX design as possible.
I will leave out the parts about slaying the dragon and saving the princess for another time. An epic tale can only be so long. Thanks for reading!

For design I have worked on the three Google UX Certification projects as well as a project that is not quite completed for a Udemy course.
I did a mockup of a homepage for the company I currently work for because they are redoing their website. I also am working on a logo redesign for the same company.
Life Experience
(In no particular order)
Swallowed an entire roll of bubble tape. It turned out badly, I was also 3 and didn't know you couldn't swallow it.
Kickflipped a set of 6 stairs. I fell a lot. Worth it!
Helped a bike shop catch one of their employees stealing over $80,000 in goods.
Went to Ireland and had a Guinness in their 360 degree view gravity bar.
Held a Koala bear in Australia, and also pet some kangaroo.
